I did not want another app that drills you. I wanted one that marks your work — quotes the sentence back, then shows the better version.
That is the whole product. You write an essay, record an answer, sit a reading mock — and what comes back is your own language with the marks on it, not a score and a badge.
The rest of this page is the argument for building it that way, and the list of things this site will never say.
THE ARGUMENT
Why it marks instead of drills
Three statements. If you disagree with all three, this is not the product for you.

Recognition is not production.
Picking B out of four options proves you can recognise an answer. It does not prove you can write the sentence yourself, at speed, with an examiner reading. So the tasks that carry a score here — the essay, the spoken answer — ask you to produce the language rather than choose it.

A correction only works when it quotes you.
“Vary your sentence structure” is advice nobody can act on. Every writing correction here quotes the exact phrase you wrote, sets a better version beside it and gives the one-line reason — and the marks sit inside your own essay, where you made them.

The useful moment is the one you got wrong.
When an answer is wrong you can ask when it would have been right — the case you were actually thinking of, named. Then the point comes back tomorrow, and again after three, seven and twenty-one days, until you stop missing it.
THE PROMISE
What this site will never do
Every rule below is one a competitor breaks by lunchtime. They are also the reason some pages here are shorter than theirs.
Never invent a number.
No learner count, no testimonial, no star rating, no score-improvement statistic and no accuracy percentage appears anywhere on this site. The numbers we do print are things you can check for yourself — four writing criteria, reviews at 1, 3, 7 and 21 days — or they are samples, and every sample says so inside the picture rather than under it.
Never claim more of a skill than we measure.
Listening is measured at placement and practised from an approved clip bank at your level: play the clip as many times as you like, your answers are marked on the server, and the transcript comes afterwards. It does not move your level, and because the clips are human-approved rather than generated, the bank can run out. Speaking is measured from two recorded turns in that same test, and when a microphone will not record, the result prints it as unmeasured instead of leaving a gap for you to misread.
Never say guaranteed.
Scores here are estimates: IELTS-style bands, TOEFL-style task scores. No examining body has reviewed them, and we have no affiliation with IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge or ETS. A band you are shown is our reading of your work, not a result.
Never make leaving difficult.
You cancel from your own account. Cancelling stops the renewal and your access runs to the end of the period you already paid for, and a first payment you have not used is refundable for fourteen days. Before any payment there is a free placement check with no card taken. There is no retention maze and no cancellation phone call.
Never sell software that does not exist.
The institutional offer is a pilot programme: there is no teacher dashboard, no roster, no seat management and no LMS export today, and the schools page states that at the same size as the offer itself.
Never hide who does the work.
Liguastic is AI, and we say so rather than implying a staff room. Our AI writes the coaching and generates the content, and our speech assessment scores pronunciation and fluency — only ever from a real recording. There are no human tutors, no live classes and no bookings.

Two facts about this company carry legal weight. Both of them are printed here.
You will not find a founding story, a team photograph or a headcount on this page. Those are what a site prints when it has nothing verifiable to say, and the section above rules them out.
What you get instead is the record: who you are contracting with, whose courts govern that contract, whose name appears on your card statement, and where the policies that bind us both live.
